Satisfaction Survey for the Helios Corset 2004

Equipped with the corset from 2000 and 2.5 years from October-November 2003 answers from questionnaire.

All had spastic tetraplegia without walking function

Ten had previously used the fabric support corset or the plastazote corset

Thirteen had adjustments to the wheelchair

Indication: discontentment with previous devices.

Conclusion

For cerebral palsy with severe spastic tetraplegia, the newly developed Helios Corset seems to  benefit patients with severely impeded sitting/standing function and loss of head control.
